Congratulations to the Society of Descendants of Washington's Army at Valley Forge for being an "APEX" winner for 2018 for our official publication called The Encampment.  It is produced by Editor & Director of Communications General, Jean Marie Dillon.  Click on the photos above to see an issue of this award-winning newsletter.

One of the most iconic commemorative works on the American Revolution, William Trego's March to Valley Forge was painted in Philadelphia and exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 1883.  It was conserved in 2011, thanks to funding from the Society of the Descendants of Washington’s Army at Valley Forge and now hangs in the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia, PA.
